The First Nations Education Administrators Association (FNEAA) is excited to announce the upcoming 2025 Virtual Conference on “Innovative Leadership in Indigenous Education: Blending Tradition and STEM,” to be held on February 12-13, 2025. This significant event offers a unique opportunity for First Nations administrators, principals, vice-principals, and education leaders to delve into the dynamic integration of Indigenous knowledge with advanced STEM education.

Featured Speakers Include:

• Dr. Albert Marshall: Pioneer of the “Two-Eyed Seeing” approach, sharing his expertise on integrating Indigenous and Western knowledge systems.
• Mary McDonald: Discussing the pivotal role of culturally responsive STEAM education in Indigenous communities.
• Carola Knockwood: Exploring innovative methods to integrate Mi’kmaw knowledge into science curricula.
• Leslee White-Eye: Examining the implications of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) in Indigenous educational autonomy.
• Joanna Sanders: Highlighting the expansion of professional learning programs in First Nations schools.
