First Nations students (age 3-30!) are invited to submit videos and artwork celebrating the vital connection between water, animals, and the land.

Your stories may explore:

  • Water conservation and care for lakes, rivers, and streams in your territory
  • Beavers, fish, geese, and other animals that rely on clean water for survival
  • Community teachings and stories about water and its spirit
  • Land- and water-based learning, ceremonies, or local environmental projects
  • Indigenous science and traditional knowledge about protecting water systems

This is an excellent opportunity to share how your community honours and protects water and all living beings that depend on it. Your story will be featured on the First Nations Education Administrators Association (FNEAA) Storyteller Page — Àdisὁkewinini, meaning “Storyteller” in Algonquin Anishinaabemowin.
