2020 Annual General Meeting

You are invited to participate in the 2020 Annual General Meeting of Members of the First Nations Education Administrators Association (FNEAA) scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2020, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (EST). To ensure the health and safety of everyone during COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting will be conducted via Zoom Videoconferencing.

NOTE: The Annual General Meeting is for FNEAA Members. To become a member and to participate, please click here to read the membership details and how to signup to be an FNEAA Member.

This meeting will also be the election for the FNEAA Board of Directors for the 2020-2023 term. All FNEAA Members are encouraged to run for a position or nominate another FNEAA Member.

Pursuant to the FNEAA By-Law No. 1, the Board of Directors is of comprised of a maximum of eight (8) members, maximum two (2) from the following regions:

  • Northern (Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut)
  • Western (British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan)
  • Central (Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec)
  • Atlantic (New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador)

National Gathering

October 27 & 28, 2021


You are invited to attend and participate in the first National Gathering scheduled for October 27 & 28, 2021, led by the First Nations Education Administrators Association (FNEAA).

A National Gathering Committee has been established to guide the FNEAA’s 1st Annual National Gathering on 'Champions of Change; Honouring Resiliency'. The Gathering will include keynote speakers, keynote panels, plenary discussion as well as concurrent themed workshops.  A sponsorship program and tradeshow will be part of the festivities.

The National Gathering begins with pre-conference workshops to be held on October 25 & 26, 2021. There will also be networking opportunities throughout the program including evening activities that conclude with an evening dinner and awards ceremony.
